Redefining iGaming Acquisition: An Interview with the Founder of Exactplay

In the rapidly evolving world of online gaming, acquisition strategies have remained stubbornly static. We sat down with the founder of Exactplay to discuss how advanced real-time data pipelines and machine learning are shifting the landscape from batch-processed statistics to instantaneous behavioral insights.
Interviewer: Let’s start with the core problem. Why is traditional tracking failing affiliates and operators today?
Founder: The short answer is latency and fragmentation. Traditional tracking setups rely on third-party cookies or asynchronous batch jobs that report hours or days after the event. In a mobile-first ecosystem, that delay is lethal. Furthermore, with privacy regulations like GDPR and CPRA, strict consent management is mandatory. Most trackers break when a user denies a single cookie scope. At Exactplay, we built a dynamic consent state compiler directly into our SDK that allows secure, multi-scoped connection upgrades without losing tracking continuity.
Interviewer: How does this help operators make better decisions?
Founder: It changes the conversation from raw click volume to player propensity. Instead of showing static banners, we serve dynamic, context-aware creatives in real-time. We split our architecture into offline models—which process large batches of historical behavioral graphs to identify player cohorts—and lightweight online models. The online models execute inside a sub-10ms response loop, using live telemetry to customize the landing page dynamically.
Interviewer: What is the long-term vision for Exactplay?
Founder: We want to eliminate the guess-work. By connecting affiliate traffic directly to real-time lobby metadata APIs and behavioral triggers, we can curate the user experience from the very first click to registration and beyond.
